Gibson and Llamas pick up wins at TWC 24 "Showdown"

The Warriors Cage was back at it April 1st, 2016. It was April Fools day, but there was no joking around inside the Eagle Mountain Casino in Porterville, Ca  as they presented The Warriors Cage 24 "Showdown".

In the main event Visalia's Cody "The Renegade" Gibson returned to action following his stint in the UFC to take on RFA veteran Justin Linn out of Las Vegas. Gibson was able to control the fight in all aspects, as he scored landing some combos lead by his jab to the body and head. Gibson would also use his take downs throughout the contest looking to finish the fight but, Linn would prove to be tough fighting back to his feet and escaping submission attempts. The fight would go the distance where the judges scored it a unanimous decision for Cody Gibson.

In the co main even Bakersfeild's J.C. Llamas earned submission of the night defeating Chris Quitiquit. Llamas would get a take down where he quickly took Quitiquit's back and locked in a rear naked choke that forced the tap at :43 seconds in round 2.

Porterville's Adam Calderon defeats Brandon Cohea by unanimous decision after three rounds of action.

David Ojeda defeats Cody Smith by split decision.

Shila Padilla defeats Jessica Birch by unanimous decision.

Mitch Sipe defeats Joey Cabezas by unanimous decision.

Destanie Yarbrough stops Crystal Parson by tko due to Dr. stoppage. Yarbrough used knees from the clinch to open up a cut on Parson, where the Dr. would then stop the fight.

Michael Forrester and Enrique Guillen was ruled a no contest after Forrester suffered a eye poke and was unable to continue.

Diego Orozco defeats Jeremy Garibay by submission locking in a arm bar that forced the tap at 2:15 in round 1.
