Arreola moves to 8-0 at 559 Fights 10

559 Fights brought their show to Lemoore, California for 559 Fights 10. The Cinnamon Recreation Complex was packed with fans supporting their favorite fighters. Headlining the event was hometown favorite Alberto Arreola, out of Team Ochoa. Arreola came into the main event undefeated at 7-0, and would face another fighter yet to see defeat Kurt Eberhard with a 2-0 record out of Reedley, Ca. Eberhard came out swinging in the opening round, but its didn't take long before Arreola would take control of the the fight. Arreola would slam Eberhard to the canvas multiple times in the bout, where he would then work his ground game taking Eberhard's back and land some ground and pound while setting up submissions. Arreola continued to dominate into the final round of the fight where he eventually locked up a head and arm choke that forced Eberhard to tap in round 3, and move Arreola's record to 8-0.
In the co main event Kerman’s Leo Cantu defeated Fresno’s Paul Porter by unanimous decision. Cantu would win every round taking Porter to the ground where he worked his ground and pound, while hunting for submissions throughout the fight. After three rounds of action, all three judges scored it for Cantu.
Mountain View, Ca’s Benji Silva defeats Fresno’s Evan Solorio by submission, locking up a rear naked choke that left Solorio out in round 1.
Bakersfield’s Marcel Cyprian defeated Fresno’s James Spear by unanimous decision. Cyprian used his reach to out score Spear in all three rounds.
Hanford’s Mark Scambia defeats Pedro Serrato by tko. Scambia took the fight to the ground where he got full mount, and landed some hard punches until the ref stopped the fight in round 2.
Porterville’s Aaron Ziegler defeats Juan Barajas by tko using his ground and pound from full mount until the ref stopped the fight in round 1.
Tulare’s David Anthony Garcia defeats William Johnson by tko, the doctor stopped the fight after round one due to a cut under Johnson's eye.
Porterville’s Rosendo Razon defeats Alfredo Cervantes by tko, dropping Cervantes with right upper cut that finished the fight in round 2.
Exeter’s Brian Kyle defeats Josh Brown by tko in round 3.
Visalia's Devon Chavez defeats Cody McClour by tko in round2.
Tulare's Eric Diaz defeats Edward Jensen by majority decision.
